Our Story

2019

With a recruitment career spanning over 2 decades and a passion for sports, Vijay Patel, Managing Director, decided to combine both.
Taking his 2 favourite sporting icons, F1 Lewis Hamilton, and Golf legend Tiger Woods, he launched Hamilton Woods Associates.

2020

HWA began to grow with the launch of its 2nd Division before the Covid Lockdown strikes! HWA reacts quickly, reducing its operations to a full remote model. Out of Lockdown, we launched HWA East Midlands and move to our new head office in Castle Donington and the launch of 2 further Divisions.

2021

A year of change and stability, a great half year performance which allowed further expansions and growth with 2 further Divisions, Housing & Property Services & Sales Support/Operations.

2022

A steady year focusing on the scaling of Housing & Property services, Qualified and Executive Search. This year is a challenge as we look to stabilise our investment within a growth driven business, looking at our Marketing, Branding and Social Media presence to continue our growth plans into 2023.

2023

A huge growth year, 2023 saw the start of new leadership in James Wood as Managing Director. The business saw a 67% increase in new clients onboarded as the market accepts Hamilton Woods as consistent competitor in the recruitment space. It also saw the beginning of our 3rd specialist division, Engineering.
